Ingredients
- 12 oz (340g) pasta of your choice (e.g., penne, fusilli, or farfalle)
- 1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 cups (475ml) marinara sauce
- 1 cup (250g) grated mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup (120g) grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup (60g) chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup (115g) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup (55g) olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Method
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned about 5-6 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant. Stir in the marinara sauce and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, chicken, and marinara sauce. Mix well to combine.
- In a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, add the pasta mixture and top with the mozzarella, parmesan, and cheddar cheese.
- Sprinkle parsley on top and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
