Spanish Tortilla de Patatas (Spanish Omelette)

Ingredients:
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
Method:
  1. Step 1: Sauté the Onions and Garlic
    • Heat olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.
    • Add sliced onions and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
    • Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  2. Step 2: Add the Potatoes

    • Add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.

    • Cook until the eggs start to set, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Step 5: Finish Cooking the Tortilla
    • Use a spatula to gently lift and fold the edges of the tortilla towards the center, allowing uncooked egg to flow to the edges.
    • Continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the eggs are almost set.
