Ingredients:
- 1 lb potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder
- 1 tablepoon garam masala powder
- 1 tablespoon red chili powder
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 teaspoon chopped green chilies
- Vegetable oil for frying
Method:
- Combine mashed potatoes, breadcrumbs, cumin seeds, coriander powder, garam masala powder, red chili powder, and salt.
- Mix well and add lemon juice, cilantro, and green chilies.
- Divide the mixture into 8-10 portions and shape each into a round patty.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat and fry the patties until golden brown and crispy (about 3-4 minutes per side).
- Drain excess oil on paper towels and serve hot with yogurt, chutney, and chaat masala.
