- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Vegetable oil for frying
Method:
- In a bowl, combine mixed vegetables, cheese, flour, egg, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well.
- Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the mixture to set.
- When ready to fry, shape the mixture into small balls (about 1-inch diameter).
- Roll each ball in breadcrumbs to coat evenly.
- Heat about 2-3 inches of vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Fry the balls until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
