Veg-Cheese Fried Balls

Description:
Crispy fried balls filled with a delicious mixture of vegetables and cheese, perfect as a snack or appetizer.



Ingredients:
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (grated carrots, zucchini, bell peppers, onions)
  • 1/2 cup cheese (grated mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Vegetable oil for frying
Method:
  1. In a bowl, combine mixed vegetables, cheese, flour, egg, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the mixture to set.
  3. When ready to fry, shape the mixture into small balls (about 1-inch diameter).
  4. Roll each ball in breadcrumbs to coat evenly.
  5. Heat about 2-3 inches of vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.
  6. Fry the balls until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
