Yummy Chicken Sandwich

 A simple and delicious sandwich recipe made with boiled chicken, mayonnaise, and fresh vegetables, perfect for a quick lunch or snack.




Ingredients:
  • 0.5 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 whole wheat bread loaf
  • 1 lettuce leaf
  • 1 tomato slice
  • 1 onion slice (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
  1. Boil the chicken: Place the chicken in a pot and add water, soy sauce, white vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until cooked.
  2. Shred the chicken: Let the chicken cool, then shred it into small pieces.
  3. Assemble the sandwich: Add the shredded chicken into the mayonnaise and a pinch of parsley (optional) and mix well. Cut the bread loaf from the center, spread mayonnaise on one piece of bread, and layer with, lettuce, tomato, and onion (if using).
  4. Serve and enjoy: Top with the second piece of bread and serve.
